Picture This: APGD Photo Exhibition and Registration

$25.00

The beloved photo show is BACK!

APGD is thrilled to announce the return of Picture This: APGD, our heartfelt analog community photography show. It's back, baby and ready to turn disposable camera clicks into gallery-ready art.

This open call invites you to capture what you love about the Audubon Park Garden District. From noodle bowls and swoony shop windows to lazy lizards on sun-warmed sidewalks, we want to see your APGD, through the lens of a camera.

No filters. No Photoshop. Just pure APGD.

Why Now?

We know it’s early, but we’re opening registration now for Picture This: APGD for a few good reasons:

Camera prices are climbing a bit, and we want to keep this show affordable.
Prep on our part take time (film needs to be processed, photos selected and framed).
December disappears in a blur of glitter, shopping, and peppermint lattes.

This is your chance to claim one of just 48 spots before the holidays hit and everything gets swallowed by tinsel. Help us plan ahead and save some cash. Win-win.

How It Works:

  • Registration opens now and is limited to 48 participants

  • Cost: $25 per person, which includes:

    • One disposable camera

    • Digital photos available for download

    • One standout image selected, printed, and framed for inclusion in the exhibition

  • Camera pick-up & drop-off: [The Lovely Vintage Market]

  • Deadline to return cameras: [January 9, 2026]

Once the film is developed, we’ll pick one image from each roll to display in a group show that spotlights the magic of our district.

The Show:

Join us for the Artist Reception on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the one and only Stardust Video & Coffee, where all selected photos will be exhibited in true APGD style - framed, fabulous, and full of heart.

Friends, family, fans, and fellow artists are all welcome!

Bonus Goodies:

  • Sponsored by our film-loving friends at Colonial Photo & Hobby

  • Featured artists will get love on our Instagram and website

  • Bragging rights as one of the coolest (and most analog) artists in the district
