FRAMED!

The APGD Photography Show

No filter, no photoshop, just pure APGD. We are inviting our community to share their favorite things in the Audubon Park Garden District, through the lens of a disposable camera for the first Framed! The APGD Photography Show.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Registration has begun and is limited to 20 participants. The registration fee is $25 and includes the disposable camera and a set of prints. Cameras may be picked up now through September 25, 2022 at The Lovely Boutique Market, 2906 Corrine Drive. Cameras must be returned no later than close of business October 16, 2022, also at The Lovely Boutique Market. We ask that photos taken be of things in the APGD area. So, you know, pretty much any place within walking or a short bike ride distance from the Corrine Drive shops. More or less from Leu Gardens to Coytown to Blue Jacket Park to Lake Sue-ish areas and all the spots in between, including the businesses, churches, parks, Little League, activities, food, drink, murals, architecture, etc. Anything that you enjoy about being in the APGD!

One photo from each entry will be framed and on display at the Framed! The APGD Photography Show at Stardust Video and Coffee, November 4, 2022 through November 30, 2022, 1842 Winter Park Road Orlando. The opening reception for Framed! will be November, 4th from 6 to 9 p.m. at Stardust, in the exhibit space. All are welcome. Cash bar.

The selected framed photos will be available for public purchase and proceeds will benefit the Audubon Park Garden District's art programming (including Poemville, which returns April 2023). While this event is for fun and community, we will have some gift certificates and APGD swag for the top three photos, as determined by some volunteers who will pick em!

NOTE: Any and all photos that are framed for the gallery exhibit might also be used at some point to help promote the community overall on our website or social media accounts, in addition to possibly being used at some point for a calendar, post cards, note cards, etc. as fundraising merchandise for the continued benefit of art programming in the APGD.
