CORRINE DRIVE REDESIGN
What’s (finally) happening with Corrine Drive?*
Yes, we once made our own homemade crosswalk for Parking Day, to demonstrate our commitment to a safer Corrine Drive. Good times!
After years of advocacy by The APGD, including running a volunteer committee championing a better Corrine Drive and our participation on MetroPlan Orlando’s advisory task force, the City of Orlando is now advancing a thoughtful, people-first plan to transform Corrine Drive and its surrounding corridor (including Forest Avenue and Virginia Drive) into a safer, greener, and more inviting place for everyone, whether you're walking, biking, pushing a stroller, or heading to your favorite neighborhood spot.
At the Audubon Park Garden District, we've been behind the scenes every step of the way advocating, organizing, planting trees, supporting local businesses, and pushing for a more connected, community-focused future. If you believe in this vision, please consider becoming a monthly donor. Your support helps us keep showing up, building coalitions, and making the entire neighborhood better one thoughtful step (or bump-out) at a time.
