Alley Gallery
Submissions are now open for Alley Gallery, a unique juried outdoor art exhibit in the heart of the Audubon Park Garden District. We’re looking for bold, original work to transform a chain-link fence in Alley No. 3 into a temporary public art gallery and we want your vision on display.
Selected works will be printed on weatherproof vinyl banners and exhibited from January 8, 2026 through February 28, 2026, making art accessible to the entire community. When the installation wraps, we’ll upcycle the banners into tote bags and pouches, handmade in the U.S. and sold inside The Lovely Vintage Market next spring. (It’s part of our commitment to sustainability, but please note that portions of your artwork may be partially visible on these future one-of-a-kind handmade tote bags.)
Juried Prizes
First Place: $500
Second Place: $250
Third Place: $100
Note: All application fees go directly into funding these artist prizes. Your entry helps celebrate and support fellow creatives, including you.
Who Can Apply?
All visual art is welcome including photography! Whether your work is digital, painted, illustrated, or captured through a lens, we encourage you to submit. All artwork displayed must be family-friendly, non-political and non-religious.
Artists may upload up to five JPEG images per application. If you submit a series or multiple images that are visually or thematically connected, we may choose to display more than one if the works complement each other cohesively.
There is a nonrefundable $10 application fee per submission (whether you submit one image or five, it’s just $10 total).
This is your chance to have your work seen by hundreds in an unconventional, open-air format and to be part of a project that celebrates creativity and sustainability. Additionally, accepted artists will also be featured on our website and across our social media platforms, along with a link to your site or portfolio to help connect new audiences with your work.

If you are selected as a contestant, you will be contacted at the email address provided and asked to submit a professionally scanned JPG/EPS image for best representation.
If you are selected as a winner, you will also be asked for a brief bio.
